Apple Sauce

So we went to the Hansen's on Sunday just like every week, but this time we left with a spectacular treasure, Apples! Bonnie has a huge apple tree in her back yard that has been bursting with apples. Michelle took a whole bunch on Thursday. And we took a huge Diaper box full plus two grocery bags full of them. There was enough left for Michelle to take more after that:)
Kelli came over yesterday and we got to work. We peeled. cut and cooked em. Kelli got a new peeler/cutter so that part was really pretty easy. Luckily we got a lot of really good apples that didn't have any worms in them so there wasn't much prep work. Then we cooked and blended them up and added a little bit of sugar and Cinnamon. The kids kept asking for a taste so it must be pretty tasty:)
We ended up with 22 pints full of them and we were super pleased with our domestic skills.
