Independence

Tomorrow my babies start Nursery all by themselves. They will be 18 months old tomorrow. It is crazy to see how big they are. They are talking so much and have such fun personalities. Being a mom is the best!!!

Tommy is on this new kick about being totally independent and big. He wants to eat with a big plate and a big spoon. He will not eat anything that you try to feed him. He wants to do it himself. He wants not only the banana, but the peel as well. He is so dang cute, but that little guy can throw quite a fit. We went to one of Danny's friends house for dinner tonight and he refused to eat. There was nowhere for him to sit and feed himself and I was afraid he was going to make a mess. It was drama.

Miranda is such a little mommy. She plays with her new baby's that she got for Christmas non stop and tonight she tried to take care of the baby the same way. She is so concerned about others around her. She really is tender hearted.

Melody had a great time with their 3 year old daughter. Sometimes Melody is rough and some kids are intimidated by her, but they really got along and had a lot of fun. It made me really happy to see that. Sometimes because she is so rough some of the kids will be mean to her and won't play with her and it probably hurts my feelings more than it does hers, but it was nice for once not having to worry about that. It really hurts when she wants to play with someone so bad and because in the past she might have been rough the kids won't give her another chance. I guess it is just something that I have to keep in mind when it comes to my kids. Just because a kid might have pushed to hit or played to rough doesn't mean they will be that way every time they play, and I will try to encourage my kids to give them another chance.
